Today’s ATL Film Talk is a Guest Exclusive featuring Directional Dimensions Productions. Core team members Bryan Redding and Dan Jordan join host Krista Berutti in the studio for an informative open discussion segment, “ADAPTING TO INDUSTRY CHANGE: the evolution of film technology, legislation, and generations.”

AFT

Bryan Redding

Bryan Redding is an award winning director, cinematographer and photographer based in Athens, Georgia. He has spent the last fifteen years working as a professional visual artist. His commercial and film assignments have taken him over half of the world, from the beaches of Kuai to the shores of the Danube in Austria.

Bryan’s has served as both the Director and Cinematographer on a number of independent films and shorts in addition to being the Director of Photography of one feature length film “The Morningside Monster.” In addition to independent film projects, Bryan has also directed and shot numerous music videos and commercials. Some of his past commercial clients have included, Coca-Cola, Kubota Tractors, Walmart, MTV, Penguin Books, Forbes Travel Guide and NightForce Optics.

Bryan has also been very fortunate to have won a number of awards as a director and cinematographer as well. His love of the principles of still photography leads him to the relentless pursuit of capturing the drama and beauty of a moving image. In 2008 he started a small production company in Georgia called Directional Dimension Productions. Directional Dimension is a small collective of Northeast Georgia filmmakers who enjoy making narrative shorts and music videos. In addition to his work with Directional Dimension, Bryan has also worked as the Director of Photography and Assistant Director with some the region’s most talented and up and coming directors.

Over the last decade Bryan has organized thousands of commercial and photojournalistic photo shoots. He has had his photography published all over the United States. Southern Distinction, Athens Magazine, Georgia’s Good Life, Flavours, Links, Macon Magazine, The Official Georgia Travel Guide, Lake Oconee Living, Where-Travel Georgia, Classic South Weddings & Events with Style, Dawg Life Magazine, Flair and Athena Magazine are just a few of the periodicals that his work has appeared in.

Bryan is also a musician, graphic designer, Art Director and martial artist (he currently holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with a heavy slant toward the Gracie Combative School of training).

Dan Jordan TwitterFacebook

Dan Jordan is the Writer and Executive Producer for Directional Dimension Productions. He is also the creator and illustrator for the funnies comic called Low Tide Comics. In addition, he is a certified Sommelier and a talented musician playing 5 different instruments (Guitar, Piano, Voice, Drums & Bass). When he’s not creating stories, music, film or making comics, Dan is extremely boring, because he is busy (you guessed it) snoring! 🙂
